The successful candidate will have significant experience and knowledge of working clinically in an operating theatre environment as well as managing large teams and budgets. They should be passionate about delivering high quality patient care, supporting well-being and job satisfaction in our teams and effective utilisation of resources. The successful candidate must be either a Senior Registered Nurse or ODP. They will possess excellent communication skills and a strong leadership background. They will have a demonstrable record of effecting change in a busy and dynamic environment. Main duties of the job

This role is accountable through their teams for: Ensuring that all staff in areas of responsibility practice in accordance with statutory and corporate policies, including those specific to operating departments including relevant day case wards and recovery services. Overseeing and monitoring the quality and timeliness of patient care in accordance with relevant professional standards. Ensuring that the environments in which patients receive care and treatment are fit for purpose, clean, well ordered and maintained. Working for our organisation

HCPC or NMC registration. Evidence of study and achievement at Level 6. Evidence of recent relevant CPD. Has knowledge of quality and assurance metrics. Holds a recognised theatre qualification. Skills

Ability to manage complex situations. Ability to manage budgets. Ability to effectively manage change.
