The stand-alone unit consists of 2 ultra-clean Theatres and 5 1st stage trolley spaces. You are required to communicate effectively with the Multidisciplinary Team, supporting the Band 7's in the day-to-day leadership and management of the Unit. You must be a Registered Nurse or ODP who holds an accredited Anaesthetic course; recent proven Anaesthetic experience is essential and an accredited advanced life support qualification.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a flexible practitioner who delivers the highest standard of perioperative care to their patients and is keen to develop their existing skills. With the motivation, vision, and leadership qualities necessary to support and develop theatre practitioners to facilitate excellent patient care in the operating Theatres.
As a key member of the senior team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the needs of patients on an ongoing basis, coordinating the care given by all members of the Perioperative Team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
