This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to further develop leadership skills in a forward-thinking team, striving to provide a high standard of care to our patients. You must: Be NMC/HCPC registered Have significant post-graduate experience Be happy to train and develop Exhibit excellent communication skills, along with being organised and showcasing excellent patient care If you are successfully appointed to this role and complete a 6 month probationary period, you will be eligible for a two-stage New Starter Premium of £1500 in total. The post holder will lead the team and facilitate the provision of a coordinated, high-quality service in the following surgical specialities: Major head and neck reconstructive surgery Maxillofacial Surgery Plastic Surgery including major reconstruction Hand surgery Ophthalmics, including corneal grafts Burns for reconstructive surgery Trauma Our success is underpinned by the skills and enthusiasm of our team and a strong culture of partnership. Qualification
Registered Nurse or Registered ODP Academic training in specialist areas, teaching, and training Experience
Leadership qualities and management competence and experience Experience as an advanced theatre practitioner in at least two clinical areas i.e. recovery, anaesthetics, surgery Experience within a specialist field This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
