Theatre Practitioner RN/ODP -Band 5 QVH is a specialist NHS hospital, providing life-changing reconstructive surgery, burns care and rehabilitation services for people across the South of England. As a surgical hospital we provide a service in the following surgical pathways: Major head and neck reconstructive surgery Maxillofacial/Orthognathic/trauma Plastic surgery, including major reconstruction Hand surgery Ophthalmics, including complex corneal reconstruction Burns for reconstructive surgery If you are successfully appointed to this role and complete a 6-month probationary period, you will be eligible for a two stage New Starter Premium of £1500 in total. Qualification
Registered Nurse or Registered ODP or able to demonstrate knowledge within this field through practical experience ILS/ALS Evidence of extended skills/training through undertaking relevant study Post qualification experience within the peri-operative setting You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
