Be a skilled circulating and scrub practitioner and participate in the monitoring of the planning, delivery and evaluation of individualised patient care. Be a skilled recovery practitioner as needed and participate in the monitoring of the planning, delivery and evaluation of individualised patient care. Assisting all members of the theatre/recovery team as needed. Accurately enter patients' details in the theatre register and on the theatre computer system. Assist in the setting up of theatres/recovery; checking equipment and instruments for the session, liaising with the person in charge. Maintain stock levels in theatres/recovery. Assisting with the daily checks in theatres/recovery. Assist as delegated in an emergency situation. Operate complex medical devices and troubleshoot. Support learners and new starters. Process the collection of complex specimens, ensuring accurate documentation. Be part of complex procedures requiring two circulating or scrub practitioners, managing additional equipment and resources. Work in environments with radioactive waste/x-ray and manage the risks.
