Camphill School in Aberdeen wishes to announce a new vacancy for a Therapeutic Movement Practitioner, supporting children and young adults with diverse to complex needs.
Our opportunity would suit a candidate with the following:
A background and/or qualification in a therapeutic movement discipline (additional training can be offered)
Some experience or an interest in working with people with assisted support needs, such as autism, neurodiverse needs, ASD
Ideally, a background related to Waldorf Education, Curative Education, or anthroposophical therapeutic work
An interest in exploring the Anthroposophic medical approach to human development and physiology
Examples of appropriate training backgrounds in the capacity of therapist or teacher could be Bothmer Gym and Spatial Dynamics, or other functional or structural body therapies and movement-based disciplines, such as Eutony, Feldenkreis, Pilates, Alexander Technique, Somatic Movement, and Sensory Integration.
