Therapeutic Support Worker Responsibilities: Creating a caring and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of young people. Planning and facilitating activities to promote learning and integration within the home. Monitoring and documenting young people's progress, achievements, and significant life events. Collaborating with local authorities/placing authorities to deliver exceptional care. Building positive relationships with parents/carers to support the development of young individuals. Therapeutic Support Worker Requirements: Valid Driver's License: Due to the rural locations of our homes, a valid driver's license is essential for this role. Passion and Energy: We're seeking individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and bring energy and enthusiasm to their work every day. While not mandatory, having an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field would be advantageous. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with young people, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing situations and work schedules, as well as being flexible in your approach to tasks and responsibilities, is crucial for success in this role.
