This role can be based from either Birmingham Snowhill or London Podium (near Euston).
Salary:
Birmingham - £47,450 - £59,300 pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible benefits fund of 20% which is paid on top of the base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits.
London - £53,850 - £67,300 pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible benefits fund of 20% which is paid on top of the base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits.

As a Senior Third Party Agreements Manager at HS2, you will lead the negotiation, development, and embedding of contractual arrangements with selected third parties for the protection, diversion, and connection of third party assets, to facilitate the construction and operation of the HS2 network.
About the role:
Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of complex Third Party Agreements to enable the Delivery and Operation of HS2, ensuring alignment with the Third Parties Strategy and overall HS2 objectives.
Assure compliance with Third Party Agreement process and governance requirements.
Develop and produce accurate agreement registers and metrics, and create meaningful reports for internal stakeholders. Present to boards and committees to secure 'buy-in' and respond to challenges.
Potential to line manage up to six direct reports.
Engage with other Directorates to identify requirements for third party agreements and devise a programme for delivery and implementation.
Embed awarded agreements within relevant business teams, ensuring contract management plans are in place.
Manage contractual relationships with Third Party Stakeholders.
Provide subject matter expertise and undertake assurance across a portfolio of awarded agreements throughout the agreement life cycle.
Manage interfaces with Delivery and Operations directorates to influence delivery strategies and ensure requirements of Commercial Agreements are appropriately shared with contractors.
Lead development and assess commercial models for charging by third parties and/or pricing HS2 services, effectively managing risk and driving best value.
Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, supporting and complying with all organisational initiatives, policies, and procedures on EDI.

Knowledge
Expertise in construction, commercial, or land & property contracts.
Experience
Experience developing and/or managing complex and collaborative construction, commercial, or land & property agreements.
Experience in leading teams and managing/coaching staff in their career development.
Commercial/contract management skills for high-value, complex heavy civils/construction works.
Programme/project management of significant commercial work streams.
Experience in securing and demonstrating value for money.
Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects, rail construction, and/or utility projects.
Stakeholder relationship management experience.
