We’re working exclusively with an innovative business located in the Southeast who seek an experienced Timber Frame Designer. This company has already received several orders in its factory based in Hampshire. As the sole Timber Frame Designer, reporting to the Managing Director, you will be involved at all stages of the project, including the commercial aspects. As a Timber Frame Designer, you will: Work on several projects running concurrently. Prepare designs of closed panels and floor joists. Provide specialist technical information to your colleagues in production. Ensure accurate designs in line with design and warranty requirements and structural engineering information provided. Resolve technical and architectural queries. We are looking for someone with: Excellent understanding of technical drawings and construction design. 5 years or more designing timber frame. Proficient in MiTek Software or industry equivalent. Aspirations to build your own team.
