TSR Legal are seeking an experienced Conveyancer with strong title checking skills to join a dedicated Title Checking Team in Newport. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of various transaction types and the ability to conduct title checks independently and to a high standard. This role also involves handling post-completion tasks, including reporting on management packs, mortgage offers, and searches, as well as addressing replies to enquiries. Key responsibilities:

Reviewing titles for Freehold, Leasehold, and New Build properties, ensuring compliance with departmental standards. Raising and resolving necessary enquiries related to the property title. Preparing detailed and comprehensive reports on property titles for clients. Supporting live conveyancing teams by providing guidance on complex transactions. Managing post-completion tasks, including replies to enquiries, and handling management packs, mortgage offers, and searches. Assisting with auditing and other departmental tasks as required. Working towards agreed timeframes and billing targets. Essential skills & experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a conveyancing role. At least 3 years’ experience in title checking. Experience managing your own caseload. Knowledge of Leasehold properties. Experience with New Builds. Auditing experience. Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgement. Confident and effective communication, both written and verbal. Ability to build strong working relationships and demonstrate a collaborative, “can-do” attitude. Resilient under pressure and committed to meeting deadlines. Benefits:
