We are recruiting for a Learning and Development Lead. This role will drive the Learning & Development strategy for Müller Milk & Ingredients, with the aim of supporting both individual and team growth across the business unit. You will support individual and leadership development across the sites, providing tools, insight and coaching and delivery of content, to drive a leadership mindset. Drive alignment of talent management processes, working with local HR teams to provide clarity, consistency and application across all sites. The Learning & Talent Lead will work across multiple sites, agenda and workload applicable and can be based from any one of our UK sites with expected travel between the sites and a level of (hybrid working). Whilst the role is 100% aligned to the Muller Milk & Ingredients team, effective collaboration and join up with our central L&D team is critical. Key tasks and responsibilities:

Learning & Development Strategy

Work with Management and Support and HR teams to understand the capability gaps and work with HR team to determine what support is required at both functional and site level, with the aim of promoting consistency across all sites. Develop a Learning & Development Strategy which will support both individual & team growth across the function in line with the functions strategic direction. Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with central Learning & Development to ensure an integrated approach to L&D within Müller Service and the wider business. Work with the business unit to promote the core offering and identify participants for Central Core Programmes & Leadership Development Programmes.

Learning & Development Solutions

Design learning tools & programs to meet the internal needs of the function, leveraging best practice and embracing industry knowledge. Determine methods of delivery (internal/external) and where required source appropriate training partners to support content development and delivery. Deliver/Facilitate Learning & Development interventions for the function in line with functional needs and objectives. Support the business with the roll out of Insights and delivery team sessions as required. Partner with local HR to upskill and share best practice relating to L&D and the perform and grow process.

Talent Management

Drive expansion of talent management processes with aim of having a clear and consistent approach across the function. Design and deliver talent reporting to support site HR teams to effectively manage talent locally and across the function. Drive the Perform & Grow Process in the function and identify core functional themes and development needs, ensuring plans are in place locally to develop high potentials which is aligned to the national approach. Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with central Talent Team to ensure integrated approach to Talent within the business. Govern the talent management process delivery to ensure all aspects are delivered in line with objectives & defined timelines.

Data and Trend analysis

Establish learning evaluation approach and embed to ensure training solutions are effective and meeting the needs of the business. Establish Talent & L&D Dashboards to report out on key metrics and to facilitate continuous improvement across the sites in terms of talent management and capability.

Culture & Engagement

Promote a learning culture across the function with a strong emphasis on developing the importance of 'how' we do things. Support the site HRBP's to drive learning, development & talent mindset across the sites.

Customer Excellence, Governance & Compliance

Develop L&D calendar to ensure delivery of programmes works in conjunction with site priorities. Ensure all L&D solutions have clear objectives and purpose and will contribute to the functional objectives. Ensure Talent Processes and outputs are documented and captured via appropriate platforms and support is provided to site to ensure data accuracy. Work with HR Teams to establish budget requirements and proactively manage budget in conjunction with site teams. Ensure legal compliance is met in all learning interventions to ensure risks are minimised.

Minimum Requirements:

Recognised as expert in discipline, with experience of delivering across a multi-site organisation. Previous experience in a Learning & Development role including leadership development, delivering and facilitating training programmes. Understanding of customer requirements and is able to take ownership of problems, issues and recommend practical solutions. Solid understanding of learning styles/approaches and of leadership development techniques. Ideally insights facilitator trained (training can be provided if required). Ability to influence others at all levels of the organisation. Ability to construct and deliver projects with business engagement. Experience of talent processes and systems. Credible, builds relationships with senior stakeholders and demonstrates excellent judgment. Results driven, resilient, and determined in the face of ambiguity and opposition.
