Key Responsibilities Operate CNC Millers and CAM software effectively. Manufacture jigs and fixtures to support production cells across the business. Work from engineering drawings to produce, modify, and maintain injection mould tools. Operate manual machines (milling, lathes, surface grinding) and EDM machinery (Wire Eroders, Spark Eroders, Fast Hole drilling). Conduct function tests, evaluate results, and document trials for components and tools. Identify tooling requirements and solve mechanical/manufacturing issues in conjunction with Inspection and Design teams. Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping duties to maintain quality standards. Mentor apprentices and provide guidance as needed. Requirements Time-served apprenticeship or HND in Mechanical Engineering. Proven toolmaking experience. Conversant with traditional machining and fitting practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Adherence to health and safety policies and company procedures. Apply now!
