Skilled Blow Mould Toolmakers opportunity in this successful established and stableprecision engineering and manufacturing company, dedicated to the creation, upkeep, and repair of mould tools for the blow mould production industry. We are looking for an experienced Blow Mould Toolmaker, Manual Miller, or Bench Toolmaker to join an established team. The role involves a variety of tasks including drilling, spark eroding, polishing, and milling, using our modern and well-maintained manual and CNC machinery. Key Responsibilities: Create blow mould tools for bottles of different shapes and sizes. Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure tools meet quality and production standards. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing blow mould tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnose and resolve tooling issues to enhance efficiency and quality. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in blow moulding technology to improve tooling capabilities. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience as a Blow Mould Toolmaker, (bottle experience an advantage) In-depth knowledge of blow moulding processes and tooling. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach. Proficient with tool room equipment and experienced in the service, maintenance, and repair of mould tools. What We Offer: A full-time stable permanent role with a competitive salary based on experience. 25 days of paid holiday plus paid bank holidays. Standard working hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime at time and a half.
