Working as part of the tool-making team, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of all injection moulding and press tools on site. Toolmaker Benefits: Negotiable salary depending on experience, working days Monday to Friday (half day on a Friday), pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, and free parking on site. Toolmaker Main Duties: Support tool engineering in achieving all maintenance tasks on tooling. Demonstrate understanding of injection moulding tools. Carry out maintenance, health and safety, and environmental tasks. Demonstrate understanding of press/deep drawing tools. Responsible for the efficient repair and servicing of all moulds, jigs, fixtures, and extruded parts to maintain production requirements and standards. Manufacture spare parts, both to drawing and through means of using own initiative, by taking measurements of existing parts and making new ones to the same standard. Achieve the highest possible standard of polish on bought-in parts and moulds to maintain the company's high standard of quality required on all products. Toolmaker Required Qualifications: Must have undertaken a 4-year indentured apprenticeship. City & Guilds or O.N.C in mechanical or electrical engineering is a benefit.
