35,000 - 40,000 We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker, ideally someone with injection mould tool expertise and familiarity with EDM, polishing, and standard toolroom equipment. We are highly interested in individuals with extensive experience in die polishing. Key skills required for the Toolmaker vacancy: Experience of repairing/maintaining all tooling Operate toolroom machinery, EDM, manual machines, and bench work Ability to work from mechanical engineering drawings/schematics diagrams to assemble parts/machine as required Produce and repair jigs and fixtures Check dimensions with measuring instruments Support manufacturing in achieving customer satisfaction, quality, and production targets Work to health and safety standards Organised and working to a high standard, keeping the work area clean and tidy Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (HND/HNC/apprenticeship or industry experience) Demonstrate tenacity and out-of-the-box thinking to find solutions Able to work in a team environment or independently Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Due to our high vacancy response rates, we are unable to reply to all applicants.
