GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a fast growing and highly successful global supplier of industrial equipment, based in the Worcester area. We are currently recruiting for an assembly operative to join their business on a full time basis.

This position is Temp ongoing and there will be different start dates in January which will be discussed at Interview Stage.
Shift Times:
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 am - 15:00 pm
Friday: 07:00 am - 14:00 pm
Pay Rates:
GBP12.50 - GBP13.50 p/h DOE
Responsibilities:
Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
Follow assembly manuals, assembly build orders, drawings, production orders, and oral instructions to complete assembly tasks.
Monitor and action any discrepancies found in the quality of produced components.
Operate hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
Ensure all relevant quality documents are adhered to and completed, including any customer specific requirements/parts are fitted.
Help prioritize workflow to ensure all required delivery times are met.
Prioritize own workload and maintain the highest quality of work whilst meeting tight deadlines.
Follow and adhere to company safe working practices and safe systems of work.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an assembly or production environment.
Ability to understand and read engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for using powered hand tools and measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience of working within a team and on own initiatives.
Experience driving FLT and the use of overhead cranes (valid licenses desirable but not essential; refresher training courses can be arranged).
This position has the ability to interview IMMEDIATELY.
