I am working closely with a well-established national consultancy in London, looking for someone to join from Planner to Associate Planner level. With an increasing pipeline of projects, you will be offered great exposure to an enviable roster of clients and could gain valuable experience in the booming renewable energy sector on major solar, BESS, hydro and wind schemes across the country. You will be involved in (among other responsibilities): Assisting or leading on DCO projects, assisting in delegating and starting to take on a leadership role Maintaining relationships with clients by providing accurate advice and communicating effectively Dealing with pre-applications and managing planning applications through the development process Communicating and negotiating with clients, stakeholders, and locals regularly Business development and building your own client base Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations, and similar events representing both the Company and clients through the planning process Mentoring and helping to manage junior team members You will ideally: Have at least three years of experience within planning - ideally in consultancy Possess strong development management skills and expertise Be MRTPI or equivalent Be a strong communicator with excellent written work Have a track record of working within planning in London In reward for your hard work, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as ongoing training and the opportunity to be part of an excellent team and company to progress your career - where the hours you work are not as important as the quality of output!
