Our client is an established planning consultancy based in Leeds with offices in Manchester, London, and Liverpool. They provide expert planning services across a variety of sectors including commercial, industrial, residential, and strategic land development. Their team in Leeds consists of 8 dedicated professionals, and they are looking to expand to 10 members to accommodate the growing workload. Job Description:

They are seeking a motivated Town Planner and a Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic team. The successful candidates will work on a diverse range of projects, from commercial developments with clients like Henry Boot Developments and CEG, to electric vehicle infrastructure for companies such as Gridserve and BP Pulse, and industrial projects with Jewson and Travis Perkins. Additionally, you will handle residential work with developers such as Gleeson Homes, Strata Homes, Miller Homes, and Bellway, along with smaller scale projects like green belt developments, barn conversions, and heritage work. Key Responsibilities: Manage and deliver planning applications and appeals Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders Conduct site appraisals and planning policy research Prepare planning statements, design & access statements, and other related documents Attend and present at planning committee meetings Provide expert advice on planning and development matters Requirements: 2-5 years of planning experience in the public or private sector Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) or working towards it Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Motivated team player with a proactive approach to work Why Join Us?
