Elevation Recruitment Group are representing an established manufacturing business, who are seeking an experiencedTrade Compliance Specialistto join their dynamic team.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by designing and implementing a robust global Trade Compliance capability, driving best practices across a global network. As the Trade Compliance Specialist you will: Conduct HS tariff classifications across multiple jurisdictions Determine preferential and non-preferential country of origin status for products Assess and manage the export control classification number (ECCN) of products Maintain data accuracy in trade compliance systems (HS, CoO, ECCN) Support the management and deployment of Free Trade Agreements across global sites Provide expertise in Customs, import, and export control regulations Identify and implement special customs regimes (e.g., IP, customs warehousing) Conduct internal trade compliance audits of worldwide business operations Assist in deploying the Internal Control Programme in collaboration with the Global Trade Compliance Manager To be considered for the Trade Compliance Specialist role, you will need: 3+ years of international import/export regulations, including Customs Authorities, Clearance Procedures, ITAR, and EAR Be located within commutable distance to Leeds or Manchester Degree or equivalent professional qualifications (preferred) Professional certifications in International Trade Compliance are highly desirable Experience in an industrial engineering manufacturing environment is advantageous Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
