Do you live within a commutable distance of Whitby? Do you have a minimum of 1 year of Trade Counter Sales experience gained in the building materials supply business? Jewson in Whitby is recruiting now for an ambitious Trade Counter Sales Assistant. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, every second Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Location: Jewson, Fairfield Way, Whitby Business Park, Whitby, YO22 4PU As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will have one of the most important roles within the branch. You will regularly be the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch, so you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience. To support the team you will be: Dealing with customers face to face on the counter Helping to prepare customer orders, ensuring accuracy at all times Dealing with customer calls, emails, and enquiries Checking incoming deliveries and reporting missing or damaged products Maintaining warehouse stock levels Carrying out regular stock counts Making Health & Safety a priority and demonstrating how you can keep yourself and others safe at work Working with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement Supporting with deliveries to client sites as and when required What’s in it for you?
