Trade Marketing and Events Executive

to join our Marketing team in Wigan on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to our Head of Marketing and Creative, this role involves executing trade marketing campaigns, supporting retailer events, and coordinating internal marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales teams, trade marketing partners, and event organisers to deliver impactful brand experiences that align with our strategic goals. Assist the Head of Marketing and Creative in planning, executing and reporting on trade marketing activities for a variety of UK retailers, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Work with the Head of Strategic Projects and Events to organise all aspects of UK and international trade shows and events, from initial planning through to execution and post-event analysis. Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Product Care Group and its brands professionally at trade shows, meetings, and other events, building positive relationships with retailers and industry stakeholders. Our ideal Trade Marketing and Events Executive will have the following skills and experience; Educated to Degree level (essential) ideally in Marketing or similar At least 1-2 Years experience in Trade Marketing or Retailer Events Willingness to Travel: Comfortable with regular travel across the UK and beyond, to attend retailer meetings, trade shows, and events as required to support marketing and event initiatives. Hold a valid UK driving licence with own vehicle and be confident in travelling independently to various locations Skilled in planning, coordinating, and executing events from start to finish, with an eye for logistical details and the ability to manage event timelines effectively. A strong understanding of trade marketing principles, including experience working with retailers on joint promotions, in-store displays, and product launches. Proven experience building and maintaining positive relationships with retail partners, vendors, and internal teams to align on shared goals. Able to manage multiple trade marketing campaigns and events simultaneously Able to work on own initiate while remaining aligned with team goals. Strong verbal and written communication skills Thrives in a fast-paced environment, handling change smoothly and staying focused under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Flexible, can-do attitude.
