Job Purpose To perform Marketing analyst role implementing and communicating Trade Policy & objectives through day-to-day activities for Europe / MED – Asia EB. To coordinate and manage Europe Export data analysis and cargo pricing in line with Trade Policy & objectives through day-to-day activities. Primary Job Responsibilities and Measurement Perform regular structural review of regions / AC performance against target goal levels & follow-up on any performance deviations providing insight analysis of cargo patterns and analysis of forecasts. Create and manage dashboards for various KPI’s, analysis of data and summarising actions to be taken. Work with regions / MKTG teams and monitor any deviations in performance, also providing guidance and directions based on cargo pattern analysis to maximise overall trade profitability. Review route costs, create and maintain Arbitrary cost lists, and manage opening / closing routes. Create and maintain Minimum guide rates in line with market changes across various platforms. Coordinate cargo portfolio strategy analysis with a view to maximising revenue return. Prepare daily / weekly cargo trend analysis/booking monitoring reports which facilitate the process management & optimisation of vessel allocations and trade profitability. Support the European Space management/Pricing team daily activities with clear guidance and cargo trend analysis. Manage optimal cargo routing tables for Europe / MED – Asia trade, setting and maintaining route priority, cross-referencing against internal way port allocations, and identifying under-utilised routes for promotion to respective pricing personnel. Be fully proficient with all Trade Management in-house System Modules and perform timely and accurate review & maintenance of the same when & where required, including but not limited to new system enhancements. Take on ad hoc projects as directed by the Marketing Manager. Show proficiency in dealing with new system enhancements and data analysis to support daily pricing and space management decisions. Skills, Qualifications and Expertise Proven ability to analyse complex amounts of data and create ad hoc analysis when required. Knowledge of data studio, power pivot would be preferable. Good knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Knowledge of system programming is considered a plus for this position. Experience of working to tight deadlines. Flexibility in approach to work. Capability to analyse data and put forward recommendations from that analysis. Ability to prioritise workload. Key Relationships The job holder will work closely with and support the EU Marketing Manager for all commercial operations and strategy, administrative and management tasks. The job holder will work closely with, structurally assist and support the EU MKTG department for commercial strategy and implementation regionally. The job holder will work closely with and support HQ TRADE for commercial strategy and implementation and coordination with YIELD. The job holder will deal directly with National Organisations and TPA’s for commercial strategy and implementation.
