This Trainee Accounting Technician is an entry-level role designed to provide on-the-job training and support while studying for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in accounting and finance. Responsibilities
Day-to-day accounting tasks:
Assisting with tasks such as data entry, invoicing, purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and general administration. AAT studies:
Undertaking AAT qualifications with the support of the company. Balancing study time with work responsibilities. Learning and development:
Gaining practical experience in accounting principles and procedures. Developing strong analytical and numerical skills. Teamwork:
Contributing to the smooth running of the finance department. Working collaboratively with colleagues. Qualifications and Skills
Strong numerical and analytical skills Good attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) A desire to pursue a career in accounting GCSE Maths (or equivalent) Desired Skills
Previous experience in an office environment (beneficial) Interest in accounting and finance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Next steps:
