The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH) Eastern Services, based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, are seeking to appoint a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work in our Emergency Department within the Medicine Care Group.

Job description

Job responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to expand our ACP workforce in Emergency Care. The postholder will be based in the Emergency Department at our Eastern Services site which has just undergone an extensive redesign.

We are currently looking to grow our ACP workforce and this role will develop high level critical thinking and decision-making skills, and work towards performing at an advanced level. This role will develop over time in response to changes in service delivery and we are therefore looking for people who are energetic, eager to develop and are forward thinking with the potential to adapt to change and meet new challenges. In return we will support you at every level to enable you to develop your new role.

Applicants from candidates who are passionate about the holistic, multidisciplinary care of patients accessing Urgent Care are welcomed and encouraged to apply. Please note, this is a progression role. Band 7 salary will be given first before progressing to Band 8a salary.

Working Pattern:

37.5 hour per week to include shifts
