We are seeking a Trainee Animal Technician for our client located in Oxford. This full-time, permanent position offers a starting salary of £22,308 and is available for an immediate start. As a Trainee Animal Technician, you are responsible for the health and welfare of the animals in the laboratory. Key Responsibilities:

Record keeping and assisting with regulated procedures as required. Ensure animal welfare is up to date and any concerns are reported to the NACWO. Follow the client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Perform basic husbandry tasks including feeding and watering of the animals, health checks, cage cleaning, and taking care of animal nutrition. Clean equipment and facilities, including the use of power washes. Prepare equipment for the next use. Job Requirements:

Experience working and caring for animals. Husbandry experience with rodents (preferred). Previous experience handling mice and rats would be beneficial. At least 6 months experience working in a research facility would be beneficial. Animal care management certificate or similar (preferred).
