Trainee Assembly Operative
£11.44 per hour
Location: Blackwood
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:45 - 16:00
Acorn by Synergie is working with a specialist company seeking a number of Mechanical / Wiring Assembly Operatives to join their growing team. Successful candidates will be responsible for mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical equipment to engineering specifications and will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
Working from a set of wiring and layout diagrams. Producing wiring looms. Using hand/crimp tools. Minor soldering. Building of electrical control cabinets. Using cranes and hoists. Using powered hand tools. Assembling complex products to company specifications. Key Requirements:
Excellent attendance levels and attitude. Ability to understand electrical drawings. Manual dexterity. Ability to read and understand wiring/electrical drawings. Reading and understanding assembly diagrams. Reading and understanding bills of materials. Flexibility to work in various areas. Good communication skills.
