We are seeking a motivated

Trainee / Assistant Building Surveyor

to join their dynamic team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your expertise in key surveying disciplines, with full support towards achieving chartership.

As a Trainee / Assistant Building Surveyor, you will work closely with an experienced team, gaining exposure to a wide range of surveying activities, including:

Dilapidations

- Advising landlords and tenants on lease-end repair obligations. Party Wall Matters

- Assisting in the preparation of Party Wall Awards and notices. Building Surveys

- Conducting condition surveys and preparing reports. Contract Administration

- Supporting project delivery and managing refurbishment schemes. Planned Maintenance

- Contributing to maintenance strategies and schedules.

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and experience:

A degree (or equivalent) in Building Surveying or a related field. Some experience in dilapidations, party wall surveys, and general building surveying. Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. A proactive and ambitious attitude, with a willingness to learn. A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).

The successful applicant can expect to receive:

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience). Structured support towards chartership (RICS / APC). Hands-on training with senior surveyors and industry experts.
