The Programme:

As part of the Frasers Group Elevation Programme, you will focus on our iconic Sports Direct brand, owning key commercial relationships for own brands including Everlast, Slazenger, Karrimor, USA Pro, and many more. Our 2-year programme will give you exposure to activities such as:

Making decisions on which products to sell and what they'll be priced at Identifying customer trends and assessing how products perform Analysing and monitoring the flow of product Seeking efficiencies that will drive commercial benefits across own brands and fascia In year 1 of the programme, you will be assigned to several factories that supply our products. You will have ownership of managing the products from start to finish including design & development, forecasting, amendments, pricing, logistics, quality control & category optimisation. A factory visits our Shirebrook HQ every week to analyse their product and its performance, so you will have the chance to build relationships and manage suppliers in person.

You'll spend some time overseeing the commercial performance of our products throughout their lifecycle. You'll develop skills in recognising customer trends, build partnerships with our sourcing network, negotiate with suppliers, analyse commercial performance, and so much more. This is a unique opportunity to deliver tangible product performance for the UK's biggest sports retailer.

In year 2 of the programme, you will have the chance to use your knowledge of the business to specialise within a particular area. This could result in broader exposure across our other brands such as Flannels and Frasers.

Not only are we providing best-in-class training from industry leaders, but we also have a dedicated Learning and Development team who will be with you every step of the way on this programme. Your experience will begin with a two-week immersive orientation programme to set you up for unlimited success. Our L&D Team will organise regular opportunities to connect with your cohort, there will be interactive workshops to build Core/Management skills, and Expert Insight sessions will be delivered by Frasers Group Senior Leaders. Your application will be reviewed by the Recruitment Team, and you will be informed if you have been successful within 30 days. Successful applications will be invited to complete a short online assessment that measures aspects such as analytical skills, logic, reasoning, and Frasers Group values and behaviours. If you are successful at this point, you will be invited to complete a video interview with one of the Recruitment Team, where you will get the chance to show us your fearless qualities and ask any questions about the programme, team, or group. Finally, the fearless few will be invited to an onsite assessment centre at our Shirebrook HQ in March 2025. Assessment centre travel expenses will be covered by Frasers Group, including trains/mileage and, if necessary, hotels or flights.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid working rights for the UK A degree is not essential, but applicants from Economics, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Business Studies, Fashion & Merchandising, Management are encouraged to apply 1 year+ work experience in any industry (if no degree) GCSE grade A*-C (or equivalent) in Maths & English Able to put commerciality at the forefront of your decision-making Confident working with complex data to draw business conclusions and make an impact A real passion for retail, able to spot customer trends and help us push the boundaries within this industry Confident bringing our data to life; outstanding communication skills, written and verbal, are essential
