Days for 3 months for full training, then onto 4on/4off Days The Opportunity: This is an incredible opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance engineer looking to step up into a Controls Engineer role. You will be able to fault find on PLCs currently and have some knowledge of ladder/function blocks. The main PLCs on site are Mitsubishi but they are looking for someone who has experience on any PLCs. There will be 3 months hands-on training from the Controls Manager working days Monday to Friday. This role will then change to a 4on/4off DAYS shift pattern. Experience required for a maintenance engineer: Minimum 5 years experience working as an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer Level 3 qualified in electrical at least, HNC desirable Be able to fault find on PLCs and understand ladder/function blocks Any electrical maintenance engineer from a manufacturing environment welcome: FMCG, Food, Plastic, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, Foundry, Brick, Distribution, Automotive, Metals, etc.
