Trainee Dental Nurse

St Albans . No previous dental experience is needed for this role. Full-time hours Typical shifts are 8.00am-5.30pm Training supported by our highly experienced team - your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex At this friendly 2-surgery specialist Orthodontic practice, we care for both NHS and private patients. You’ll work alongside an expert clinical team, including Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists in this well-equipped practice. St Albans Orthodontics is one of circa 70 specialist orthodontic practices within PortmanDentex, making us the leading orthodontic provider in the UK. St Albans also provides additional learning opportunities such as iTero scanner training and to work in their own dental laboratory (3D printing for models and Biostar to make retainers). About you We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications: GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course. Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care. Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session. Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures. What do you get in return?
