About the role and practice
We are looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join a rewarding role in a friendly and professional environment at Botley Dental Practice in Oxford.
Full-time hours available, 38 hours per week
Typical shifts are 8.30am-5.30pm
Parking on site, free parking
The practice has 3 surgeries with 4 dentists, 2 hygienists, 4 dental care professionals, and 2 receptionists. We are very proud of our team and have a loyal patient base. At Botley Dental Practice, we like to treat our patients as individuals and create trust in each other. We understand that attending the dentist is not the highlight of the week and for many it can be the most stressful part of the day. We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications: GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
Enjoy working as part of a team and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
Comfortable learning to perform high-quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist, or therapist in all procedures
