About The Role We are looking for a talented and ambitious person to join the Development team. You may be looking to get into an IT job but are lacking the experience or qualifications that most roles require. You aspire to learn and get on a career path that may lead in time to: More complex development Business analysis Higher level support management What will you be doing? Your principal responsibility will be to focus on technology which isn’t part of our core platform, developing new and existing systems in an agile environment. You will need to be a strong communicator, with Software experience and knowledge from work, academic, or as a hobbyist wanting to develop a career in development. Reporting into the IT Development Team Lead. You will work as a developer in a team of 7 people, focusing on technology that isn’t part of our core platform. Developing changes to new and existing systems, working in fortnightly sprints. Providing support directly to users. You need to be this kind of person: Proactive with a problem-solving mindset. Attention to detail while retaining a sense of the broader picture are essential. A high degree of professionalism, taking great pride in your work. Determined and resourceful, able to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Dynamic, value the diversity of working across multiple teams in multiple time zones and locations. You need to have the following experience: Software development experience (can be work experience, academic, or as a hobbyist). VBA, particularly use of Excel macros to automate the production of PowerPoint decks. Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and/or Power BI). SQL Server. Advanced Excel. Python.
