£35,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus bonus

We are seeking a motivated Electrically qualified individual to join a leading company specialising in the maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and gantry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with electrical knowledge who is looking to build a career with a supportive company.

What’s on Offer:

Basic Salary: £35,000 per annum

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 45 hours/week (double time on Sundays and after 10 pm).

Company van, tools, and PPE provided.

Opportunities for fully paid industry training to allow you to develop your skills and knowledge.

Pay reviews at 3 and 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Your first few months will involve shadowing an experienced member of staff, where you will be trained in all aspects of the work. After this period, you will be confident in the following:

Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of Overhead and Gantry cranes to ensure optimal functionality.

Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to maintain high equipment standards.

Attend customer sites promptly to diagnose and resolve breakdowns.

Adhere to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Electrical knowledge and relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition).

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.

Ability to work at heights.

Previous experience working in a mechanical/electrical environment.
