My client, an Engineering company based in Stourport-on-Severn, is looking to recruit a Trainee Engineer on a Permanent basis.

You will be fully trained to become a Contracts Engineer and support across different departments including Design, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in Engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

Be fully conversant with the company's products. Understand the order process. Produce manufacturing drawings. Be responsible for buying components when necessary. Speak to customers on a daily basis.

Candidate Requirements:

GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English, Grade 5 in Physics or at least one relevant A level grade C or above, or BTEC level 3 as an alternative. Strong attention to detail is key to this role. A methodical, investigative approach. Good IT skills. Excellent customer service skills with an ability to get on with people at all levels.

The working hours are Mon-Thurs 0730-1600 and 1300 finish on Fridays, and the starting salary will be £22,308.
