As a Trainee Equity Research Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for analysing equity markets, evaluating companies, and generating actionable insights for investment decisions. Key Responsibilities

Company Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies, industries, and markets to identify investment opportunities. Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to project company performance and valuation. Report Preparation: Create high-quality equity research reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal teams and clients. Market Monitoring: Stay updated on market trends, news, and developments that could impact stock performance and investment strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers to support investment strategies and decision-making processes. Training and Development: Actively participate in structured training programmes, on-the-job learning, and professional development initiatives. Who We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Qualifications

A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline (minimum 2:1 classification preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in equity markets and financial analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modelling is a plus. Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Commitment to pursuing professional qualifications such as CFA, CISI, or other relevant certifications. Desirable Attributes

Prior experience in finance, research, or data analysis (e.g., internships) is advantageous but not required. Familiarity with financial tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms. An interest in sustainable investing or emerging markets is highly valued. What We Offer
