Trainee Field Engineer (Building Testing) 28,000 - 30,000 (OTE 35K) + Company Van + Overtime + Training + 26 Days Holiday York, Yorkshire Are you someone with hands-on experience as an engineer or technician looking for an opportunity to switch career path into the growing Built Environment sector, that offers full training on environmental and ventilation testing? Do you want a role that grants you full autonomy, working a local patch with the responsibility to work fully independently once trained? On offer is the chance to work for a non-profit company that invests all their excess revenue into a unique research program that combines both market and technical insights on behalf of local, national, and international governing bodies across the construction and built environment industries. In this role, you will be fully trained on how to test ventilation, air tightness, and sound isolation at new build sites whilst consulting clients on the latest regulations. You will be based from home, travelling out to different sites daily to conduct testing around a local patch. A company van, all the tools, and training you need to be successful will be provided. This role would suit someone with hands-on experience as a Technician or Engineer looking for a remote, field-based role that provides full training to become a qualified Building Test Technician.
