Sales Executive/Trainee Field Sales

position has arisen with a leading manufacturer of architectural metal gratings. They are looking for an ambitious and proactive sales professional who wants to develop in their sales career to join their team. If this sounds of interest, please apply ASAP! LOCATION:

You will be based from an office in the Rochester area. Working hours are 8.15am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on a Friday. You will have the option of working from home one day a week. As this role develops, you will visit clients frequently and will be out of the office more. SALARY:

Basic salary is £35,000 with an annual bonus of approximately £4,000. You will receive 25 days annual leave and a company pension. You will be selling a wide range of architectural metal gratings, expanded metal, treads, and floor gratings to fabricators, sub-contractors, architects, specifiers, and designers. The markets targeted include utilities, transport, logistics, and the public sector. As a Sales Executive/Trainee Field Sales, you will inherit a database of 1,000 contacts, including contractors, fabricators, and architects. You will be tasked with building your own portfolio of clients by making contact, introducing yourself, fact-finding, and hunting for future projects to quote for. You will also use Barbour ABI to research and source new leads. Over time, this role will become more customer-facing, and you will attend client meetings. This role is yours to make your own, and the company will encourage your growth and development within it. You will view the office as your base and work with an experienced team who will be a great resource, offering technical training and ongoing support. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of internal sales experience and/or face-to-face sales experience. Experience selling to the construction sector is advantageous but not essential. Your ambition, drive, and 'can-do' attitude are absolutely essential.
