Key Accountabilities Working to understand and deliver British Standards practices. Carry out the Installation, service, maintenance and fault diagnosis of Access Control, Intruder Alarm and CCTV systems, including knowledge of I.P networking for these systems. Completing daily work sheets. Use of electronic systems. Completing timesheets and job reports to a high standard. Dedication to the on-call rota - call out will be dependent on department placement requirements (Install/service). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities The candidate should have the following qualifications: Maths and Science (preferably physics) at A2 level (A-C) or SQA Higher (A-B). English at GCSE (A -C) or National 5 (Scotland). Alternatively, you may already be experienced within a technical role, and hold a minimum of an HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. The ability to attain and retain learned information. Punctuality. Presentability. High levels of communication. UK driving License is essential. Please note assessments undertaken by the training centre focusing on numeracy and literacy will be carried out to ascertain suitability of the candidate for the apprenticeship course.
