We are seeking a full-time trainee door engineer/labourer/workshop assistant to join our friendly business based in Allerton Bywater ASAP.
Standard hours are 8.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, but overtime is often required, and nightworks/weekend works may also be required.
This role can entail long hours and lots of them so if you are looking for a 40 hour a week role this job is not for you!
As a trainee door engineer/labourer, you will be paired up with an Engineer and assist with repair, maintenance, servicing, and installation of steel doors, roller shutter doors, sectional overhead doors, and high-speed doors. Trainees who show promise, commitment, and reliability have the potential to achieve career progression.
As a workshop assistant, you will assist with the manufacturing of doors, organization of the workshop, order picking, stock control, etc.
What we are looking for:
Hard working individual with strong work ethic. Reliability, flexibility, and punctuality. Full manual driver's license. Live within 30 minutes of WF10. On-site experience (preferable). Interest in mechanics/electrics. CSCS certification and IPAF certification preferred but not essential. Job Types:
