As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous experience; you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, ensuring every patient receives the best care in our stores. Our Store Based in The Millgate Shopping Centre in Bury, we are a platinum employer always looking to grow and develop our team. We currently have a team of around 40, with the majority being long-standing employees. These include: Passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers’ lives easier. Retail experience. Great teamwork. Good initiative. Confidence in using IT systems. Excellent communication and listening skills. Prepared to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. Able to receive feedback and be open to development, knowing we’ll be there to support and guide you throughout your process. Desirable Experience If you’ve got all these skills, we’d love for you to apply, but there’s also some desirable experience that could set you apart from the competition if you have it: Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
