We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Orthotic Technician to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare, have a keen interest in hands-on technical work, and are eager to develop their skills in the field of orthotics. Job Overview

As a Trainee Orthotic Technician, you will be provided with comprehensive training and development, allowing you to gain valuable experience in the manufacture and adjustment of orthotic devices. You will work closely with experienced technicians and healthcare professionals to support patient care through the production of high-quality orthotic solutions. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the manufacture of custom orthotic devices, including foot orthoses, braces, and prosthetics. Work with a variety of materials such as plastics, leather, and foam to produce orthotics. Ensure all orthotic devices are manufactured to prescribed specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment. Support the senior technicians with troubleshooting and repairs of orthotic devices. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Skills & Qualifications

An interest in healthcare or a related field. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical instructions. Good communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team. A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a technical, hands-on role is an advantage but not essential. Basic understanding of anatomy or healthcare terminology is a plus. What do we offer
