The Role

Shearwater Marine Services are recruiting a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team to support a wide variety of marine engineering projects. The successful applicant will oversee costing and budgets of projects in fields such as commercial diving, marine engineering, welding, fabrication, inspection, and defence. Key Responsibilities

Supporting major civil and marine engineering projects. Assisting to prepare, profile & manage budgets for projects. Produce bill of quantities / activity schedules. Update cashflow forecasts. Monitor and record contractual change. REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability to use a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office. Higher Maths & English would be beneficial but not essential. Other relevant qualifications will be considered. Full Clean driving license. Commitment to studying towards professional qualification. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
