We are now looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate measurement data and cost analysis to allow SQS to receive payment for the works and measurement performance of the operational teams. Provide day-to-day Commercial Support to your allocated Contract. Work as part of the contract team to produce monthly cost and profit statements together with supporting the contract manager at monthly internal review. Ensure that all measure sheets and supporting documents for all work are reviewed against customer/contract requirements and corrected as necessary for invoice/application preparation. Refer measure sheets and supporting documents back to the responsible Site Manager for clarification; where necessary, carry out site visits to verify/validate the measure sheets. Prepare Invoices from the Measure Sheets, or other sources as applicable, for submission to the Customers. Record invoices to facilitate management reports as required. Ensure that copies of all invoices, associated measure sheets, and supporting documents are filed for reference. Review cost of sales data and identify issues for discussion with the contract team.
