Position Overview: As a Trainee Sales Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to drive sales growth and build strong relationships with clients in the woodworking or offsite sectors. Through ongoing learning and mentorship, you will gain both technical knowledge and sales experience, helping you to understand customer needs, offer tailored solutions, and support the sales process under the guidance of experienced team members. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in identifying and targeting potential customers. Support experienced sales engineers by providing technical guidance and learning about the product. Participate in product demonstrations and presentations to learn how to showcase the benefits and features of our machinery. Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and learn how to contribute to revenue goals. Help build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular follow-ups while learning from customer interactions. Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and contracts. Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions through ongoing learning and mentorship. Requirements:

A strong interest in sales, technical support, or engineering roles, preferably in the machinery or woodworking sector. Basic understanding or interest in woodworking machinery and processes is a plus, but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn how to effectively interact with clients. Ability to absorb technical information and a desire to develop the ability to explain it to customers. Proficiency in IT software, with a willingness to learn industry-specific tools. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, as part of your development, to meet with customers and suppliers.
