Trainee Sales Engineer
We are currently working with a local engineering business in the Rugeley area who are seeking to expand their sales team with two new additions!
The company has a proven track record of developing, nurturing, and upskilling individuals and is seeking two personable, driven, and ambitious engineers or salespeople to join their team.
This role will be client-facing and requires individuals who are confident and enjoy meeting new people. Ideally, you will have some experience within engineering or manufacturing, but this isn't essential, and people with little to no experience will be considered.
What you will be doing?
Dealing with customer enquiries and providing quotes for work using our in-house quotation software.
Reading engineering drawings and incorporating requirements into quotes.
Understanding different types of material (mild and stainless steels, aluminium, copper, and more) and providing advice to customers.
Building a full understanding of our internal laser cutting, press braking, and CAD offerings to ensure we provide comprehensive guidance to both existing and prospective customers.
Building knowledge of the various sub-contract operations that we offer, such as painting, plating, welding, and machining, so that we are confident in handling enquiries for such services.
Acting and performing in line with company objectives.
Providing excellent customer service.
Benefits
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum
31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
