A leading supplier is expanding their team and looking for a Trainee Sales Executive to join them.The successful candidate must be confident and eager to learn and thrive in a busy sales environment. Full sales training will be provided.
Job Role:
Prospect for new business – warm and cold leads
Answer all incoming calls for customers looking to place orders
Responding to all enquiries promptly
Following up on all enquiries to ‘close’ the sale
Upsell to current clients – offering promotions
Arrange face-to-face meetings in their showroom to promote the product
Strong product knowledge and a willingness to learn
Account management (retain previous business)
Liaise with other departments ensuring the customer’s orders are correct (finance, warehouse)
Process all orders and send out relevant documents
The Person:
Must have an excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with clients and business associates
Verbal and written communication skills
Drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
A good problem solver when faced with customer concerns
Full UK Driving Licence
