Key responsibilities for the Trainee Sales Manager role include but are not limited to: Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue growth, retention, and new business acquisition targets. Manage customer relationships by implementing relationship management plans and engaging decision-makers to understand their needs and challenges. Create and deliver tailored presentations and proposals, adapting materials to align with customer interests and objectives. Represent Survitec at sector events, fostering a personal network and gathering market intelligence to position the company as a trusted safety solutions provider. Collaborate with internal teams to design and present customer-centric solutions, negotiating terms within pre-approved commercial guidelines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data in Salesforce or other CRM platforms to enable effective sales strategies. Act as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring their needs are prioritized and addressed effectively. Stay informed on company policies, regulatory codes, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and uphold Survitec's reputation. About You: Essential Criteria Self-driven professional with a strong work ethic. Proven technical and commercial acumen. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the region. Desirable Criteria Background or knowledge in energy, marine, or marine safety industries. Previous experience in a sales role with a proven track record. Engineering or technical knowledge relevant to safety solutions. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
