For this position, you do not require any prior water sector background; however, it is ESSENTIAL that only candidates with a full UK manual drivers license and the ability to work nights will be suitable for this vacancy. In this role, you will be working attached to Clean Water networks on Thames Water projects, where you will be trained to carry out tasks such as: Valve operations Water quality testing Asset identification and verification Flow and pressure testing Deploying loggers Produce site reports This role offers great training, development, and career progression which will allow you to progress into a Water Engineer (pays £30,000 upwards) within approximately 18 months and scope to further progress into a Senior Engineer role which pays almost £50,000 as a basic. The starting rate for this role is £28,000 + overtime and night allowance, and you can realistically earn up to £34,000 in your first year with overtime. In addition to this, you will receive a great benefits package as well as a fully expensed company van, so you will have no travel costs to or from work.
