Trainee/Junior Electrical Estimator (Hybrid) - Established Electrical Contractor - Dungannon Your new company A well-established and successful Electrical Contractor based in Dungannon is seeking a Trainee/Junior Electrical Estimator to join their commercial team. With nearly 40 years of experience, this company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including Commercial, Education, Industrial, and Maintenance. Your new role In this role, you will receive hands-on training while working alongside an experienced estimator. You will assist in creating cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects across various sectors, offering a unique learning experience. Typical responsibilities will include: Producing competitive, commercially viable tenders for new and existing clients. Carrying out take-offs from working drawings. Negotiating the optimum tender price from suppliers, wholesalers, and subcontractors. Ensuring tenders are prepared to a high standard. Participating in the handover of successful bids to the delivery team. Ensuring the delivery team understands the technical, financial, and key programme issues. What you'll need to succeed You should have a background in electrical building services, either as a time-served Electrician or with an HNC+ qualification in Building Services or Electrical Engineering. IT competency and good communication skills are essential. Additionally, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport. Previous experience will be an advantage.
