This position will be accountable for the development, administration, and evaluation of our operational training programs which are designed to improve and build on our colleagues' knowledge and skills. This will involve owning the training and development of our teams with a continuous improvement approach working with key partners across the site to align our training programs to deliver the organisational goals and objectives.

Your key accountabilities will include: Conduct needs assessments to identify the skills and knowledge gaps within the organisation. This involves analysing business outcomes, conducting surveys, and collaborating closely with department heads and key partners. Create and build comprehensive training programs tailored to our organisation's needs. This could include corporate training, workshops, e-learning modules, hands-on skill acquisition sessions, and continuous professional development courses. Lead all aspects of the deployment of training initiatives both in-person and online. This includes scheduling training sessions, coordinating with trainers, and ensuring all logistical details are handled. Use metrics and feedback to evaluate the success of training programs. This might involve conducting follow-up assessments, analysing data, and implementing improvements as the need arises. Responsible for the training budget, ensuring that programs are cost-effective and within the allocated resources. This includes defining terms with our training providers and controlling expenditures. Your skills and experience will include: An innovative approach to designing effective and engaging training programs that cater to diverse learning styles. Utilising different techniques to keep trainees engaged and motivated throughout the learning process and respond to changing business needs and adapt training programs accordingly utilising the latest technologies. Capability to assess training needs and knowledge of the various tools and technologies to design, implement, and evaluate training programs effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions. Ability to lead and motivate a team of trainers and departmental colleagues involved in training activities. Familiarity with e-learning platforms and the ability to integrate technology into training programs to improve learning experiences.
